Our process was established to create accountability and to deliver the quality expectations for you and your project. Knowing what step you are on, where things stand, and what is coming next is key to our success and your peace of mind. Here is a simple step by step guide of what you can expect from us at Batescraft Joinery.
Initial Contact
Once we have received your information through our contact form or phone call, we will ask a few simple questions to better understand your remodel or project.
These questions consist of; scope of work, timeline expectations, budget expectations, and overall how best to serve you and your project.
Once we determine we are the best fit for your project, we will then set up an in home visit to gather our “take off” information. You will receive a scheduling link to set your in home visit appointment online.
On-Site Visit
Most remodel walk-throughs take a minimum of 30-45 min.
Our on site visits consist of gathering measurements, additional notes, and photos of your project. At this time we will review our process and establish an expectation of when your proposal will be ready for review.
If you are considering a new home build, we will schedule a consultation in our office to walk you through our specific steps.
Proposal Review
After careful review and calculation of your project, you will then join us at our office to talk through your proposal in detail. We will review our process again, present drawings and-or renderings of your project, talk through any necessary adjustments, and move towards the scheduling / acceptance phase.
Acceptance
We have come to an agreement and are ready to get your project scheduled! You will receive an invoice for the initial deposit as determined in your proposal. Our sales team will meet with our production manager to “hand-off” your project in full detail. The production manager will then reach out to you to introduce them self and walk you through the next steps of design and project production.
Production
At this step we are now into the planning phase of your project. You will be working directly with our production manager during this step.
We will create a profile for you within our online software that will allow you to review important information and receive daily updates once your project has begun. You will meet with our designer to begin working on design selections as determined in your proposal.
Within our online software you will receive a shared calendar, review / approve design selections, and all other information regarding your project.
Project Managment
At this step your project is scheduled and all design selections have be finalized! Our production manager will now do a “hand-off” to your dedicated project manager.
Your project manager has received a job binder with your entire project produced on paper, has personally walked through your project and reviewed all details and will then inform you of the next step.
Your daily schedule will be followed according to the shared calendar you have already received. Your project manager will update our software each day so that you receive a “daily log” notification informing you of the progress made that day, next day plans, and important talking points or conversations.
Your project manager will be your direct point of contact and with you every step of the way!
Final Walkthrough
At this point all touch up items and tasks are completed! We will schedule photos of your project to share with you and complete a review with you of your experience with Covenant Construction. Final payment is then collected upon your satisfaction!
